PARIS, France- SIC Global Athlete, Seychelle Webster (USA) could not have asked for a more impressive first season on tour. Webster secured her maiden World Title in Paris, with a flawless victory in the sprints, giving her three sprint wins for her first season on Tour, securing the 2019 Sprint Racing Title in the process.
Winning the 2019 APP World Tour feels thrilling and incredible and unbelievable all at the same time. I had what started out as a very slow and challenging year, but I turned my obstacles into opportunities and came out on top. I hope to inspire others to do the same. Challenges in life are just blessings in disguise. I couldn’t have done it without the support of my team at SIC Maui. The RS truly is a rocket ship!- Seychelle
Having secured her World Title Champion the day before the final day, the pressure was off for Seychelle. However, that did not stop her from powering down the picturesq course on the River Seine in the distance finals. Seychelle battled it out with Fiona Wylde all the way to the finish line, just falling short of the win to settle for 2nd place. Out of her 6 counting races of the year, this was her only second place.

SIC Global athlete Martin Vitry is also ending the 2019 season feeling accomplished and grateful.
5 races, 4 continents, 8 months… Can’t be happier to finish behind those 3 champions [Casper Steinfath, Arthur Arutkin, Michael Booth]! Thank you SIC Maui & Black Project Sup for the endless support and the perfect gear. Time to enjoy the off season and get ready for next season.- Martin
Martin competed in the ISA World Championships in El Salvador a few weeks ago, where he finished with a personal Copper Medal and a team Gold Medal.
We are so stoked for Seychelle & Martin! Congratulations on the impressive season, and we can’t wait to see what 2020 brings for you both!
